Got this NW PA 11 point on the evening of 12-29-17. The deer were hammering a winter wheat field in these cold temps. Put a cam up on a pinch between bedding and the wheat field and got several pics of this buck and a few others using the pinch point. Set up in my climber for several evening sits last week with the warmest being 13 degrees. Saw the 11 point pass by out of range on Wednesday and finally got him on Friday. He came in around 5pm and offered a 20 yard shot. Heart shot with a 60-70 yard recovery. I was using a killer instinct furious 370 crossbow with grim reaper razor cut 1 1/2 " heads. Couldn't be happier

Congrats on a BEAST of a buck. Kinda jealous of you northern hunters getting to hunt those big bodied animals. All of our deer in Texas look like German Shepards compared to y'alls deer.

That's a stud buck and congratulations! I'm impressed with your ability to deal with the temps. A great hunt and one to remember for sure.
