I am in the market for a new pack and am looking for some input. I have it narrowed down to the Bandit, Ranger 11, and Ranger 22. I hunt out of a variety of setups (saddle, set stand, climber, hang and hunt). I am wanting a pack that can handle all season. I don't carry a whole lot of gear to the stand with me usually, with the exception of my outer layers. I currently run a Kuiu Divide 2000 and it does ok but am looking for something different. There is a lot of unused space in my Kuiu.
I keep coming back to the Ranger 22, but if I can shed a little weight and space, the Bandit or Ranger 11 would be better to me. I believe if I do the Bandit then I would need a platform carrier for the hunts where I use a saddle. Does anyone else have similar setups as mentioned and if so, what would you recommend? I guess my main question is do the 11 and Bandit have enough real estate for layers and my gear. Pictures are appreciated.
