Learning to Shoot a Longbow

I've been hunting with a compound bow for most of my life, with my share of success. So I wanted to challenge myself more, so I got into traditional archery. I'm still trying to figure everything out and I wrote an article about my learning process.

Here are three excellent books that will present a tremendous amount sound advice concerning archery technique on this type of bow:

The first book is global and comprehensive in technique and equipment across the entire stickbow spectrum. The latter two lean "longbow". In combination, these three books are a wealth of information that answer most questions that arise for all facets of shooting and will help steer you "right durned proper" towards hitting your mark and maximizing the enjoyment of your shooting.
