Can you believe it, is time to register for the 22nd ANNUAL AT Deer Contest...the link below will lead you to our League Play Forum where you can register and review the rules. The contest is designed specifically to promote a fellowship of sorts amongst our membership. The grand-prize is the fact your team is permitted to return next season to defend your title (limited to three consecutive seasons). This year THE 10derloins will be returning to defend 2025-26 title. As is most things in life, you get out what you put in, I've been personally embarrassed with my level of participation the last couple of years, but I have had a lot going on in my life. I enjoy the comradery formed and have met some outstanding folks as a result of this contest that I am proud to call friends.
In it's most basic sense, if you bowhunt and take a picture of your harvest with your bow/crossbow in the picture, you might as well sign-up. You will be paired with 14-other members who will do the same. You score your own deer using the P&Y scoring system, add up all the points your team scores and see where you fall amongst the other teams. It really is that simple. I've have met members in the contest who actually lived in the same town; how crazy is that???/ Of course there have to be some rules or it would be total chaos, you can see them in the link below.
I sure hope you choose to give it a try, it really is a low-stress opportunity with a lot of upside. As I have mentioned, I've connected with several teammates over the years to the point that we've arranged hunts, fishing trips, even nights out with our families....something I never really thought could/would happen.
Spread the word........
