There is no way that I'd shoot that buck, too old and tough lol. Nice animal. Must of been taken in Northern MO. They don't grow like that down here very often.

I did my part in controlling the doe population on Ft. Wood. I killed a big doe last wednesday. Theres nothing like fresh backstraps in the freezer. The only bucks I've seen are a small spike and a fork horn.

A friend of mine killed at 165" 9pt on saturday evening. Beautiful buck!

He doesn't like "broadcasting" so he doesn't send out any photos, etc. He's been burnt a couple of times with guys moving in on his spots.

I checked it out on Sunday morning and it was a cranker!

I wish I had a pic so I wouldn't get the "no pics make a crappy post" thing!
