I picked up a pair of these binoculars in 8x42 the other day. They were fairly reasonably priced at $249.00. I compared them to Nikon Monarchs and other similarly priced binoculars and I found them to beat (or be as good as) most. I used them for 3d yesterday and they are superb. If you are looking for a really good pair of waterproof, shock proof roof prism binoculars . . . check these things out. Very good binoculars. I intend to use them for birding and hunting as well.

I love my 10x42's ...:RockOn:I wear eyglasses and these optics give me the best field of view of any that I have tried...The only Bino's that beat these are the Leica's...But I cant afford anything like that...

I had a pair also. They are some really good glasses for the price. How ever when you spend all day glassing like you some times do in the west. I had quite a bit of eye strain at the end of the day. Excellent glasses for most though.
