Hi Folks,

I am looking to build up some new light arrows to increase my range a bit. I am shooting a SS 34 at 60lbs on comfort. I am currently shooting RIP TKO's with the factory 50 grain insert and either 85 or 100 grain field points. Should I go 4mm? Titanium inserts? lighter field points? HELP!

I just put together another set of Easton sonics. Factory insert, 100 grain tip, (4) Q2i Griff-x 2.3’s, wrap, g nock and bushing. Finished out right at 350 grains. Could definitely shed a little weight going with the factory H nock and only 3 fletch/no wrap.

For purely target shooting I'd get the Victory 3DHVs and glue-in points (same shaft as RIP XV except they don't come with an insert and they use a nock bushing and 4mm nock).

Budget pick:
Sanlida x10 (search on Amazon)
.001 straightness
6.9 gpi for 400 spine
$80 for 2 dozen
Comes with pin nocks and blazer vanes
I just cut the back end off and refletched myself
2 dozen shafts were a 2.5 grain spread, so not the best, but the inserts and field points were the most consistent I have ever seen with a max variation of .2 grains
