Loc On Treestand strap and seat conversion

Questions for those with older Loc On stands.

1. What is everyone doing to convert to a strap from a chain? I want something that is a run and gun stand so not looking for a ratchet strap. I used to get the straps from loc on but those days are gone.

2.Is anyone converting the seats to a fold down or something more comfortable. I would love to see pics on what everyone else has done.

I put a Lone Wolf cam strap used for their sticks, is has 2 webbing loops for the versa button.

I ran this strap over the 2 square vertical posts and behind the little plate that joins the posts. I wrapped everywhere that touches the strap with duct tape and used some nylon washers to make some room for the strap.

I then got a climbing rated, oval stainless quick link to join the two loops of the webbing strap together.

Join with the quick link, pull on the cam strap. Works perfectly (better than factory) and is probably safer to boot.
