I currently have a bowtech sniper package and looking at switching to FOB's which means a new drop away arrow rest, and I am hoping someone can help me out.

my budget is about 80$ for the rest, can anyone recommend something decent and reliable? I'd rather not spend more if I can avoid it, but want the best bang:buck drop away rest out there

thanks

Ripcord is a decent rest. Check the classifieds here on AT to see if you can get any good deals. Good luck.

Almost any drop away will do. I've used Whammy's, Drop zones, limb drivers (favorite, especially for the binary or hybrid cams), TT both the Shakey and the FC top slot, trap doors tons on the classifieds here. Once you get one, feel free to PM me or post up your set up and we can make sure you get her timed just right. Here's a couple links that will work good for you.

After leaving the WB, I tried the Alpine Whisperflite Matchgrade. Easy to set-up (w/Paul's guidance), works great with the FOBs, and costs less than $50 which means you'll have some extra $$$ to buy other stuff! Plus Alpine's lifetime warranty and customer service can't be beat.

i didnt have the hunter series, i could never get the rest to either drop fast enuff or get it to drop far enuff out of the way, broke a 4 fobs trying to get it to work :(
I had the same problem at first....one quick call to Paul at Starrflight and he informed me that the rest is much faster if you attach the timing cord lower on the bus cable, at least even with the bottom of the grip when the bow is NOT drawn. Took care of my contact problem! :thumb:
