Hi I'm turning 64 this year and my shoulder joints are not what they use to be . I've started shooting my lighter weight 27 lb at my draw length long bow so I'm trying to find a good light weight arrow that comes in a 31" length . I want to stay in the 5.5 to 6.5 gpi range . I was going to get one arrow in each spine from 600 to 800 to see which one worked best out of my bow with the 75 grain tip . Can someone give me some good ideas on what arrows I need to be looking at . The arrows are only going to be used for 3D targets . I want to try to keep the flattest trajectory I can with 27 lb .

Easton Vector 800 and 1000 will be as fast as you can expect.
I like your profile photo . Looks like a tx200 . I've been wanting to get that gun for a long time . I have been practicing FT with my break barrel for a while now . I think this year I'm going to go to a match . Thats arrow looks good . Its 6.2 gpi with the 800 spine . I was looking at the Easton Avance arrows , they are 5.5 gpi with the 810 spine . Should I be looking at the 1000 spine also for 27 lb at 31 inches ?

Probably 900 or 1000 spine, they won't quite be the 31 you want though. I shoot 1400 from a 25 lb longbow(that shoots a little soft) with 29 inch draw.) 1000 spine vectors shoot from a 30 lb samick recurve.

That is my Motorhead tuned HW97 with Leupold 6.5 -20 efr. The hw97 ordered from Krale is the best deal in airgunning. I had a tx200 also, and moved it on. The balance was too far forward for my wftf position. TX 200's also have lockup issues if you shoot a lot, the upgraded part to fix them is no longer made. The field target matches slowed down during covid and haven't picked back up. Used to shoot 2 or 3 a month
