Louisiana Doe Down!!!

At 0720 2 does came in and were feeding on white oak acorns. I watched them for about 15 minutes then decided to take the shot. 42 yards quartering away, liver and 1 lung. Huge bloodtrail for about 50 yards. I am pumped, this made the 14th deer I have seen from this stand so far and was able to take her. Good Luck to everyone and thanks for looking!

Congrats! I sat in the stand for about 2.5 full days here and only saw one doe and a fawn. Gustav knocked almost all of the acorns out of the trees here, so the deer are not really concentrating on one food source. They have acorns pretty much anywhere they walk.

Thanks, I just cleaned up the Trick and it is fine, no damage whatsoever, I took 2 does last year with the same head, so that makes 3 deer with 1 Trick! Very impressed with these heads.
