I just bought a .5 for the 3rd time. The only difference about this time, is I got it with a medium seat. I think that will make all the difference for me. It should be sweet for those early season 2-3 hour sits.

I've been using the .75 for the last 2 year's and that will not be going anywhere though. That thing is a workhorse. The absolute perfect hang on stand.
That was my thoughts too. My main rig now is the helo and I was planning to get the .75 to compliment it. The .5 always seemed like it was too small for me even tho I’m 5”9 170. I like a little more room, heights, comfort whatever. Regardless, I get to try them all soon. Super excited. I’ll update with whatever rig come home with me

That would be sweet for the options. After running 20 inch stick for years I’m looking forward to the 17s. I’m short at 5’6 so will be a little easier of a step
I'm 6'3" and have been running the 1.0 with 17" singles the last few years and have been wanting to go to 20s. If these go to 20s I'm upgrading along with a .75

Love the looks of them, they should be perfect with my ambush platform!!!

I received their direct notification as well. Predictable LWCG tactics.....$500 for a four pack....not ready for shipping but aggressively marketing them.....you can pre-pay and hope they arrive before season. I bought a four pack of 20" Beast Gear sticks (with holes) late last fall for under $300 and they were here in less than a week. Stealth Stripped with DIY Amsteel daisy chains and a Voile strap.....6.8#. Once again, a swing and a miss from LWCG as far as I am concerned.....other than setting a new upper standard for the pricetag of elevated hunting gear. Glad they offer some a discount ....

I don't see any great technological advancement.
Me either. I just ordered a couple of the 20” double steps last week and I’m still happy with my purchase.

I do think they could knock it off with the pre-order stuff especially after the climber fiasco last year, but nobody is forcing anyone to order anything so if people want to have at it. I wouldn’t sell the stuff you already have though until you get it.

Can you name a single high end stick or mobile hunting product that didn't have a pre order? Serious question. None come to my mind. Even the latest and greatest tree styx did a pre order.

There were sticks released way beyond deadline last year after they crowdsourced funds from a pre order, and then stocked big box stores before they shipped them to everyone who pre ordered lol.

It's the name of the game with all these smaller companies.

Is LWCG a smaller company? Andrae said in a video years ago that the business was booming.

Did Tethrd do this for the One sticks? Serious question I don’t remember. I know they’ve had other issues but still.

It's a pretty small operation.
I don't remember to be honest.

Some people are extremely brand loyal, they have another term for it but I will refrain.
If that's directed to me...I own 2 of their stands and that's where that ends.
I use shikar sticks and won't be purchasing any of these new ones either.
I just enjoy watching this industry advance as fast as it does...and I love quality gear.
😁

Btw they never advertised these sticks until a few days ago, super aggressive marketing there! Still not the most expensive sticks on the market either.🦕 🦖

Like I said I’m going on 8 seasons with my prototype beast sticks and they bite awesome. They suck to attach to a stand. Just no good way wether vertical or horizontal. They stick out and get caught too much. The way the lwcg attaches to their stand is the best on the market imo. Not to mention their stands are also the best. No flex, rock solid bite and they ooze quality when you pick one up.

Idk of anyone else making a foldable, packable double step? Let alone one with an attachment system like theirs.

I like buying gear that last forever. My first pair of swaros is 25 years old and still going, I have an og lone wolf from 99 that’s still in use. These steps will be the same if I had to guess and last forever.

How they gave you extra stickers and a hat for all that.

I had a couple sets of beasts, and while they're very well rounded as a stick, they just pack to bulky for my liking as well.

I moved onto 14" shikars. I tried a few different sticks here 'n there, including the lwcg minis, and I just haven't found anything to move me from them yet.
Your mind seems pretty well made up with the new lwcgs, but they are basically mini-mini beasts. They bite just as well, they're lighter, stack shorter, have better standoff distance all while fitting within your profile. The 14" are a very overlooked stick for those who use aiders anyway. Just throwing that out there.

I had a set of those for a season and they bite amazing, but they didn’t solve the attaching to a stand issue. They are just bulky and awkward. Then when I pack a deer out they have to get bungied to the stand and make it worse. I don’t mind running an aider on my bottom step but I won’t run one any higher do to safety concerns. Mini suck when your 5’6 and been using 20 inch sticks forever.

I’ve had every stick on the market in the last 20 years. Nothing has beat the beast stick for all around use, but I have a feeling these foldable doubles are gunna be king.
