#1 I have both the 65% and 85% let off cams for my Hoyt XTEC, and I wanted to know if there are any faults for shooting at 85% rather than 65%?

im getting some work done to my bow a couple months before the season starts so that i dont have to really tinker with it when it really counts. I just want to get everything like i want.

#2 im thinking about getting an STS also. Would that be beneficial?

#3 Im changing to 2' Blazers this year, so i should pick up a little speed...i havent heard a bad thing yet about the 2' blazers, so ill give them a try.

#4 Im going to shoot a fixed blade this year rather than the Tekan II's I bought last year (ill keep them on the quiver for backup/bobcat/coyote). Im leaning towards getting the 100 grain Slick Trick Magnums. The G5 Striker is pretty appealing to me also. Any pros and cons? Should I consider the regular 1" 100 grain Slick Tricks?

Thanks to everyone!!

You will notice a slight decrease in speed using the 85% mods and as far as the G5's I tried some last night and at 25 yards they shot about two inches to the left and one inch down at 25 yards compared to my field points. After making some adjustments I was in the X ring consistantly. I think I'll leave them on. Two inch vanes may be a bit small for fixed blade broad heads IMO. Might want to stick with a three inch.

The 2" Blazers were designed for broadheads so you wont have any trouble with those. They do a good job but I honestly found the 2" Predators by Duravane to be just as good if not better and they are half the cost of Blazers.
