I've read that you don't need a bowpress to relax the tension on the string, you can just back off the limb bolts. Is this true for all martin bows? I shoot a 2005 saber.
This is correct for your Saber. Just back off the limb bolts evenly (2 turns top...2 turns bottom). You can see through the small hole in the riser just below the limb pockets where the bolt is. They are very long and after about 10 turns there will be little tension left on the string.
