The risers have some minor cosmetic changes.The ends of the limbs are now rounded off where the limb bolt attaches(looks better than the 08's squared off limb ends).The specs are pretty much the same.A nice feature is the roller cable guard and the fact that it can be changed out to a standard rod and slide if you don't like roller cable guards,though you will lose appox.4-5# draw weight by doing so.

May be a dumb question, but can a roller guard be added to an 08' Firecat?

Sorry,but no.The riser wasn't machined out to accept it.
