martin guys please help.want a scepter 4 for spots.setup recommendations.

what do you mean setup recommendations? You mean like cam style, limb configuration? Traditionally, the S4 comes with Elite 17 inch recurve style limbs, but it can also be built with the 14 inch Magnum limbs for a shorter ATA with a little more speed. Usually, the cam of choice is the Furious-X cam, or a lot of guys put the Nitrous cams on the Scepter Mag, again, for a little more speed.

I dont care about speed.The bow will be for indoor spots only.Are the furious x-cams the only shoot thru cams.Is this what you would recommend for spots?

If you're going to use it strictly for indoors, I would have to recommend the Elite limbs and Furious X cams. Right now these are the only cams being offered that are available with the shoot-through, but there's no reason you couldn't put other cams on it, for example the Fury-X cams (which feel identical but are draw length specific), or the Nitrous-X cams, which also aren't made anymore but sometimes you can pick up a set of them here in the classifieds. These configurations will give you the Scepter IV with an axle to axle length of 43 inches, and if you use the Furious or Fury cams, a brace height of about 8 inches. Nitrous cams will give you about a 9 inch brace height. Can't beat them for ease of tuning and shootability. Good luck...any more questions?
