I heard it was the new bow named after Tomcat here on AT for his glowing reviews of Martin products :D
Well...I bought one and feels really good, but I was curious to know if it was an older model. I went on the Martin website and there was nothing on it. I called several dealers they never heard of it. Then I finally proceeded to call Martin and get the scoop...they advised me it was a new model. It is weird that the only place in town that knows of it is Gander Mountain where I purchased it. This is my first bow and will be my first bow season in 2005.

More than likely it is a private label bow. That is Gander Mtn had then built and labeled specifically for them. Post a pic and we can see if it resembles another model in the lineup. Rest assured that if it was built in Walla Walla it has quality built right in. They must know how to do it semi right if they have been successful for 50+ years. Enjoy the bow and be safe!!!!

ps... Maybe Kate sprayed it with special edition Phase Inhibitor for you ;)

Well...I called Martin up again and it is a bow they make for special stores. They advd me that it would be similar to a Phantom or Tracer. Are these good bows? or should I have went with the Prowler for $50 bucks more?

Flea, the Tom Cat is indeed a bow built by Martin, specifically for Gander Mountain. That's why you don't see it on the website. The Panther is another one. Hope this helps.

I work in the Archery Pro Shop at the Harrisburg, Pa store (Gander Mt.)
