just had one come in that looks like it just came out of the box. the person wants to hunt with it. but there no string . i know its 40 in and my guess is that it should be dacron. but never had one before . can someone tell me if it should be dacron or ff? plus how old it is.said the only way he would shoot was if he could use this bow.in the last couple days ive got in this bow a martin mag hv and a browning xcellartor. think im going to need a bigger press.

Wow this thread brought back a memory to me. I bought a Warthog back in the early 80's when I shot instinctive and with fingers. I shot very well with it. Then I put a sight on it and it became a tack driver at 20 yards. Then I bought a thumb release and the sight window wasn't tall enough on the riser so I bought a Pro-line point blank and kept the wart for a back-up. Now I have 5 compounds but did sell the wart but to a good friend of mine. If you need any info I can get it off his bow. They do shoot nice and I think back now that if I would have used a caliper release back then I might still have it.

its done ready to go built new string for it. when i went out to shoot it it felt like a big rubberband going off. real spongy.he wanted a adjustable sight and peep . going to be close on that window depending on where we end up with the peep.
how did they come up with a name like warthog?
