just put a new string and cables on my bow, I was wondering after reading some stuff on here , when my string goes into the idler wheel should the string go straight into the wheel because mine is at a little angle on its way in the wheel should I adjust the split yoke on one side to make it go straight into the wheel?

Yep, set the idler so that when you place a field tipped arrow flush against the idler on the shelf side of the bow that the very tip of the field point touches the string at the nocking point. If it is off to one side or the other, twist that side of the yoke.
