i have two mathews prestige's.one for hunting the other for 3d. i have the 28.5 cams on both but decided to shorten the 3d setup to a 28" draw. i sinstalled the cam and set timing and my ata at 35 1/2" all looked perfect. i then measured my draws length's for both bows to see how much i had shorten it and the hunting bow with the 28.5 cam is actually 7/16" shorter, the ata on that bow is 35 5/8" with the timing at the same spot as the 3d bow. what did i do wrong and how do i shorten the draw ?????????????? all help is greatly appreciated

if your strings are in good condition, cam is rotated properly and ata and brace are fairly close, then your cam has to be screwed up or marked wrong. I can't think of any way around it. Make sure you are using the indents for cam timing not the holes punched all the way thru the cam, I made that mistake once myself.

Strings

Most likely the length of the strings...all strings are not EXACTLY the same length nor do they have the same amount of twists.
