The whole bridge lock is a bit gimmicky also. It’s a clever way for them to convince you to lock yourself into buying Mathews again and again or lose you butt selling accessories.

 

How would you compare it to the previous models like the v3 and VXR. Are there any major differences besides cosmetic and little weight changes?

 

Thanks Lucas, great review of what seems like an excellent bow…trying to do my own work it sounds like changing the string/cables is the only real challenge going forward but that shouldn’t be too bad esp if I get the fingers for Matthews on my EZ Green

 

Couldn't you do cables/string changes with the stay afield system easily?

 

Thanks for the review. So you are shooting a 350gr arrow at 30.25" and getting 330fps while a speed of 343 fps is advertised? And that is what you see with other bow manufacturers....? Hmm I'll just pass, thanks. I'll wait for other reviews first.

 

The other reviews online are all within that ballpark speed wise.

So.....AFTER the 2024 Limb Blow Up Fiasco, Mathews decides to "copy" Bowtech yet Mattys system is to TILT the limbs one way or another.......makes perfect sense to me,and time will tell

 

Great review as always. Got a Darton coming soon? Seems like they advertise "real world speeds", with dloop and peep? Mathews with another big year for sure.

 

I just went to the Bow Rack. Great shop and had several Lift X’s on the wall. It looks and feels great. Couldn’t shoot it cause no lefties yet.
