What's the difference between a ...

Z-XXR-HL

versus a ...

Z2-XXR-HL

I know the Z2 is newer, but can't remember what the change was.

The Z-XXR-HL was made to fit the Ultramax ( and other bows) the Z2-XXR_HL was made to fit the Ultra2 and it also has timing holes built into the cam. I believe they are interchangable but you have to shorten or lenghten the cable 1/8 inch.

The z2 model is just a later model max came that has a wider cable track I believe. You can interchange max cams with the newer Z2 model on all of the max cam Mathews bows.

The regular max came supposedly chewed up cables and so they made the z2 model for later model max cam bows.

Thanks for the replies.

I'll try and get a Z2 if possible.

Newer is always better, right? :D
