I’ve never shot a Mathews. Just curious what anyones impression might be of the VX3? I have the opportunity to buy new one with pretty good discount. Kind of had my heart set on Bowtech SS 34 but my dealer doesn’t have one yet

V3X. It’s a shooter! You need to try it. Go to your local bow shop that carries them and with any luck they might have Bowtech as well.

Its a great bow. I have one, but you need to shoot it. The draw cycle is considerably different from a Bowtech. Not bad just different. If you like QUIET and VIBE free you will love a Mathews. Others are close but, in these categories, Mathews is still king. The new SS34 looks pretty good too. Either way you will have a great piece of equipment.

Great bow! I shoot it, a Halon, a RX7 Ultra and Ventum. The V3X is excellent and I’m taking it to idaho for my elk hunt next year. If you can get one at a great price, don’t miss the opportunity.

I have a 33, love it. I’d still buy the V3 x over a Phase 4…especially considering the price discount. But even if they were the same price, I’d go with the V3x. I just don’t trust the limbs, and I will NEVER pay for that BS stabilizer set. Put some limb dampers in the V3x and it is VERY close to the P4…it’s not far off stock, but add some soft limb dampers and go forth, and be happy!

It’s mid December so it’s not like the rut is in full swing and you need a bow today. I’d really recommend waiting until you can shoot both bows (preferably together) and simply purchase the one you like best
