Hello there,

I recently bought a Merlin SuperNova .
I was wondering if it is a problem to use a Bowmaster bow press on this bow?
thanks for advice.

Your warrantee  Merlin stipulate only an Apple type bowpress should be used.

I'm sure pinwheel12 will be able to give more advice pertaining to the American market.

Cheers

It should not be a problem. Just make sure you use the leather between the limbs and the cable of the Bowmaster so you don't mare the paint. This type of press is a very safe type for bows as it does not stress the riser and only brings the limbs in from the ends the amount needed to do whatever you need to do.

I have used a bowmaster on alot of different bows and have had very good luck with it. I read a post awhile back by someone who had one. The first thing he did was take off the tightening handle and put a socket on it and use a cordless drill to tighten and loosen it. Haven't tried it yet but it sounds like a very good idea.
