I drive an 18 wheeler so it’s hard to get n somewhere to have anything done. Midwest Archery let me pull my rig in behind the store (it’s tight, and only room for one rig with a 53’ trailer so keep that in mind). I called ahead they were happy to accommodate me.

I came in with a bow from Amazon.con that I had been tweaking and playing with for about a month. Brad took his time to tune my bow and get everything right, and help me with my technique. He was awesome to deal with, and the rest of the crew there was very friendly.

They also did my arrows, which were originally hot melted in. I got the gold tip 100 grain inserts and had them glued in permanent this time.

Anyway the bow tune was only $20 and I guess when you buy the inserts they don’t charge extra to install. So I got out of there with a 12 pack of Gold tip 100 grain inserts, 6 installed in my arrows, and a freshly fitted and paper tuned bow for like $41 and some odd cents. Also weighed and cronoed my arrows. All in all I spent almost 2 hours there and most of that time I was being helped. And that’s with customers steady going in and out.

After dealing with bass pro a couple of times and a couple of local shops by my house I know I got a bargain and I can’t wait to go back.

I know where I am going to upgrade when I scratch the money together. That Revolt X80 has my name on it.

I just feel like they deserved a shout out. So there it is :). Thanks for reading.

I tell you what. This whole time I kept moving my arrow rest further to the right to group the Montec with the field point, come to find out my form needed improvement first. I did not pull through.

Second, he moved my arrow rest all the way left past what I figured was center while paper tuning. Tweaking it a little at a time… I had it almost all the way to the right. And now my Montecs group with my field points. Imagine that lol.

Here is a picture of a 20 yard target, I shot this target while I was zeroing this evening. The best target that I have ever shot.
