When you go to remove your stand from the tree does your bracket lift up as well. Has anyone found a good way to remove the stand without the bracket moving on you. Every time I take my stand down my bracket moves down a little.

Sometimes we ratchet the actual bracket along with chain it. It DOES NOT move!!

You can take a nail and hammer it in by the base through the chain. Of course that is for when you plan on setting jthe bracket up prior to season.

Do a search here on AT for Millenium Modifications..There is a video in that post that shows and explains the mods to make a great stand even better..Best thing I could have done to my M100s..

Thanks for the replies. I don't want to modify my brackets so I guess I will just deal with it.
