What are the bucks doing in your area guys? I almost got a shot at a MONSTER last Sunday! The wind shifted and he picked up on it. All he needed to do was just take 2 more steps!! Going back after him this weekend.

Depends on who you talk to. In the KC area, the second rut is winding down, but there are still a couple bucks chasing and bumping. Others are starting to see the bucks group back up. Hopefully we'll get some of this snow they're predicting and the food sources will be HOT.

Shhhhhhhhh there are no big bucks that come out any more. Ruts over, really no more rutting going on, no more big bucks. Nothing to see out there. He's haveing a moment. :wink:

Dont tell everyone this is when you see the biggest deer you'll see all season, my favorite time of year to hunt. It is just tough to sit out in this weather and you dont see as many deer. But you will see some monsters between now and end of year. Good luck
