So I just moved to the St Louis area for work. I’ve already started scouting and scouring the local conservation areas. I just have a few questions for guys that have had success during the early archery season in this part of MO. I’m coming from PA so I’m definitely starting from scratch here and not being allowed to use trail cams is also a hindrance.

Please be ambiguous when talking about a specific area or pm me. I don’t want the internet scouters to jam up someone’s spots.

1) what features do you guys key in on? Bedding, food sources, pinch points, etc.

2) climber stand or hang on with sticks?

3) how crowded are the non-limited areas typically?

4) in general is the deer density typically good on public land near STL?

5) do the limited draw areas typically produce better deer opportunities?
