I have shot both and the MR6 is wayyyy smoother than the original m6. If i remember correctly the m6 is a tiny bit faster +- a few fps. IMO the mr6 had a better back wall but I'm sure you'll get different opinions on that. There is also less preload on the limbs.

I have a Monster 7 and the draw is more harsh than the MR7 as well. They both hold very well and as said about the Monster 7 it might be just a hair faster.
