I was in a little shower this evening and they're already starting to rust. What could a guy put on there to stop this?

I have a customer that used scorpian venom bowstring "fluid wax" as it has no smell. I also know of an oil marketed for the bowhunters equipment called weatherlock archery oil and it is also odorless and works well on broadheads.

Simple ordinary household corn oil or olive oil works for a while as well. :)

When you get home after being in the rain, spray WD40 on them, then wipe them off. Or better yet, blow them off with compressed air.

WD40 displaces water.

I use a hair dryer after a wet hunt...also keep them out of a quiver that may collect some moisture until it is dry

Spray them with a light coat of PAM cooking spray, it is the best thing that I have found to prevent rust on non stainless blades.
