More arrow building questions.

I have some Easton Ecel Carbonaeros. 400 spine I have some that are 27, 27.5 and 28. I know these are too weak. Right now they are fletched with 3 inch vanetecs. If I fletch them with 4 inch Vanetecs will they act stiffer and fly a fixed blade better? I just learned what FOC was and will the change screw this up. Sorry for all the questions.

Yes the longer vanes will will create more drag and if your bow is in tune will steer the broadheads better. It will also make the spine a bit stiffer and will change front of center slightly but if you are good now it will not be that big of a deal.

Well I fletched the suspect arrows with 4 inch vanes and my stingers flew like darts. I don't know if it was the vanes or the added weight but they seem to fly great.

Doesn't have anything to do with foc....but how much helica you putting on the vanes.
