I dont want anyone to bash eachother but i want to know what your opinion of the most accurate compound and best shooting bow is. I've shot Hoyts Mathews Bowtechs PSE Ross Parker CSS and i think that the Apex or Apex 7 would be that bow. The bow was set up with a cbe sight shrewd scope and stab. britesight rest shooting acc's.

I hope I get this right but I remember Bob Ragsdale saying that the best shooting bow was the one with the best spined arrows.

I shoot with several factory pros and I don't know one of them who couldn't shoot your eyes out with any bow. Everything that I've heard from anyone that I respect tells me that a bow is very personal, shoot the one that feels best to you. As for "best shooting" that has more to do with an individual archer's form and how well his bow and arrows are set up.

I'd have a bow with a Hoyt Proelite riser, Barnsdale limbs and cams, and Winners Choice 452x cables & 8125 strings, and a Spott Hogg Hoggernaught(sp?)sight.

i would have to agree with you,although i shoot a ultra elite due to my 27 inch draw.i shot an apex 7 and was not all that impressed with it.i hate the feel in my hand, maybe thats why i was not impressed.

yeah it is, had my doubts at first but i figured why not give it a go, "WORKS FREAKIN' BRILLIANT" one thing though i shoot @ 70lb and and i dont know how long the components inside are going to last from all the shooting im doing and to answer your question its a pro elite xt2000epsi:

Barnsdale limbs rock, it would go great with a pro elite riser, but has to be split limbs, does anyone know if dave makes split limbs?

I've got the Bowtech Constitution, and a Mathews Prestige, and I find that after a little (OK...alot) of work stabilizing these bows...they group very similar! Due to the Connie's length and brace, it is a remarkable long range shooter! I will be looking at an Apex 7, or whatever Mathews has up there sleeve for this coming year!!

Well, you have to have every thing correct to make a bow truely shoot its best, and without out a doubt, the biggest problem is the nut hold the string.

The bow is simply a launching platform for the arrow. If the arrow isn't exiting the bow properly then no bow is going to show it best.

At least from an engineering point of view, the true 4 independent cable shoot through's and the Oniedas are the only compound bows capable of delivering a truely linear nock. Therefore, I agree with Sagittarus.
