I know this will be based on opinions, and that's fine, but which 2023 hunting bow with a longer ATA do you find easiest to shoot, especially at further distances and why?

Haven’t even shot one and I’m going to say Mach 34 in EC2 based on what I’ve heard and based on how awesome my Lev 2 EC2 is (which misses your range by just under 1 inch). Another option which I have shot would be the Revex 4.

My favorite bows in the 33"-35" range are hands down the Vista 33 or Vista 35. (with the Vista 35 being my favorite bow of all time)

The Remedy, VTM 34 and V3X33 are also great shooters. (I haven't shot the 33" Phase 4 yet) But, if I wasn't over the moon happy with Athens, I'd more than likely be shooting a Reckoning.

I have a renewed love of what to me is a longer bow, 34”+, as a result of my M34 and some brief time with a Revex 4.
I’ve read a lot of positive praise for the Vista 35 from guys here whose opinions I trust. Maybe I’ll add one as a b/u bow at some point. I do love the grip feel.
I know my monstrous lol Energy 35 v-grip was a shooter.

I’ve owned new Mathews, Hoyts, and now the Bowtech SS34. For me, I give the nod to the SS34.

Lots of votes for the Mach 34, but being a lefty i haven’t had the chance to handle one.

All bows will tune within reason. Matter of how in depth you want to get, and what you have access to.

Shoot as many as you can and let the bow pick you.

I had a Mach 34, it was a great bow, but to get it to group as well at 60 yards as my aluminum bows I had to add more weight, about 4 to 5 more oz.
At the end of the day, the accountant in me just didn't see the benefit of the $500 more over an aluminum bow, so I sold it and ordered a Fortis 33 with S2 cams.
It defiantly had more float for me than my Revolt-X and my Reckoning 35, using the same stabs, with the same weight until I weighted it down.
I am by no means throwing it under the bus, its a sweet rig.

Whats your draw length? Reason I ask is some cams are better at longer or shorter draw lengths. My personal favorite is not a new bow, but the Xpedition Denali is an excellent 34" ATA bow IMO. I have a 31 and 3/8" draw and I am maxed out on the XS plus cam. It is very light at 3.6 pounds, limb stops, 345 IBO rating (they get that from loading up the cam early in the draw cycle), but great going into the valley, great wall. It has yokes and is very easy to tune. very nice grip with wood side plates and their camo is top notch IMO. Great bow if you want to save a lot of money. I would like to shoot the Athens 35, but lack of yokes and speed has held me back. I didn't love the PSE Evolve cams, The Mathews are heavy and grip doesn't work for me. I really wanted to like Bowtech, but their cams don't feel good at 31" draw. So I an still shooting my Xpeditions and saving a lot of money, just haven't found a bow that I liked better, but I did buy a lot of guns with all the money I saved! Good luck in your search.

hey, how have you been buddy.
my draw is 27.5", I love the S2 cam, at my draw length it is crazy fast, that is why I ordered a Fortis 33 with S2 cams.
usually every bow at my draw length is about 8 to 10 fps under ibo, the S2 was like 1 to 2 fps above IBO, I couldn't believe it.
Heck if I had a 31" draw I would be shooting 60# for sure instead of 72#-73#. lol

This year I bought a Bowtech SS34, PSE Mach 34 and an Athens Vista 35. The Vista 35 is my favorite out of the 3, but any of them are a phenomenal bow and it was tough to sell the Bowtech and PSE. Tons of good choices these days but the Athens fit me the best and I shoot it extremely well.
