Anyone have an alternate way to attach their D-40? I have had mine about a month and already 2 of the plastic mounting cord lugs have broken off. Moultrie wants $25 for a replacement case. Now I have to secure 2 larger flat black bungee cords around the tree and over the case.
Has anyone tried to attach a web belt to the back? Like the Wildview has or other models?
Kind of annoys me to pay for a camera with a cheap attachment system that the company KNOWS breaks and then have the balls to charge you $25 to get a replacement case. The camera takes great pictures for the price but they sure didn't think out their attachment method.
