I was reading on another forum about a guy who carries a junk arrow or two in his quiver and small squeeze bottle of cologne.

If an animal is not coming to him like he wants, he puts little cologne on the arrow and shoots it upwind of the animal.

They generally are not spooked by the arrow, but will "drift" towards him and allowing him to send another arrow to the animal when the time is right.

I thought this was a creative idea. Anyone else do anything like this, and have you been successful?
