Was thinking about getting a set of these sticks but wanted to know what you all thought about them. Are they worth the money?

I love mine. Yes they fold just like the aerolite. The only reason the aerolite is a muddy product now is they were bought by big game. I loved my lone wolfs too except my botched up shoulder and knee dont like single steps. The cleat system of hanging the stick for me is WAY better than the versa button style. With the button you had to worry about looping over it, holding the strap then pulling it tight. With the cleat its all one movement.

If youre ok with a shorter stick lol, you wont regret it.

I love my Muddy sticks. Easy to use and quick. I actually found my set in the classifieds on here a couple years back. I'd check for some used ones if you're worried bout the cost.

Love my muddy sticks! They really speed up the the time it takes to hang stands, light and easy to pack in. I will hang a stand pull the steps which takes seconds and use the steps to hang more stands. I will pack in my steps to whatever stand I plan on hunting and hunt!

Buy the aerolites and then look up "climbing stick modification" on YouTube. Should be a video by DIY Sportsman. I did what he did and I have essentially an extra stick with almost no added weight. That's my recommendation.

Muddy Pro climbing sticks 4 pack do not weigh 10lbs!

Be informed.
I went with MO over LW mainly due to rope cam and double steps. However, the 4 pack of muddy pro climbing sticks weigh over 12lbs. I double checked my scale. I do like them but they do NOT weigh 10lbs as advertised. I am waiting for a response from MO. I weighed them all 4 attached with the attached rope needed to secure to tree, all weights came between 12.2-12.6lbs. I wonder what 4 LW sticks and the 4 manufacturer straps actual weight is? Really ticks me off since I considered weight as a neutral factor, when deciding between MO and LW. Bought online for $159, 20% restock fee plus shipping (if they'd even take them back after opening) Is 2lbs+ going to be noticeable? Maybe not, but paying that much for them and obviously weight being a deciding factor when purchasing climbing sticks, I feel very misled.

Btw- I am a first time poster. I very much appreciate everyone's input on here when researching critical hunting gear. Thank you for all your input. I feel compelled to let others know my experience with this product.

I wish I would've had to opportunity to accurately compare weight prior to purchase. Clearly the labeling is inaccurate by their own admission.

I did finally get response from MO, they made design changes and it puts the weight at around 12lbs for the 4 pack muddy pro climbing sticks, not the advertised 10lbs.

Aside from being pissed about false advertising, the cam is very slick and double steps are big bonus. But I'm not sure giving up 12" of stick length, and 2lbs+ is worth it. It's a close call deciding between MO and LW.

I Just ordered two sets of these sticks and can't wait to try them out, I really like the small form factor, and don't think the weight will be a drawback for myself even if I have
to carry a couple of extra sticks. I guess time will tell, but with the smaller size I think they will be easier to pack than the longer sticks.
