Yeah, but I was thinking maybe they shortened the head and kept the blades the same size...it could happen.

They look the same in the package, thats why I didn't notice the difference when I bought them. Oh well, if they don't work, I'll just buy some of the MX-4's. I need a reason to buy some new heads anyway.:tongue:

the mx4 shank should be shorter than the original muzzy but i am not 100% for sure

Someone want some Mx-4 blades? They are thicker and shorter than the originals. Ya' never know until you try I guess.

The MX 4 blades are different than the old style 4 blade Muzzy's. I've got plenty of both heads and need to get some new MX 4 blades before season.
The MX4 blades are shorter and wider than the regular Muzzy heads.
Both are great heads though cause there MUZZY !
