I use a Truglo Archers Choice Range Rover Pro Dot sight on both my compound bows. They don’t go into a whole lot of details on how to setup the windage adjustment on it. Any recommended approaches? Do you just adjust when you’re outside only… shoot a specific number of arrows from a specific distance at a target, see how off you are, then adjust the sight side-to-side and/or also up and down, until you hit the target?

No different than any other sight. Move it until you hit where you're aiming. Set the windage at your furthest distance you can hold a good group so it's more precise.

I usually line my arrow/rest/pins up when putting on a new sight. Shoot at 20 until that’s dialed in and then get close marks out to 70 and then dial in my furthest shot to mark windage. Then walk in to dial in pins back up to 20.
