That is a cool pic. Probably one less squirrel in your woods now. He's got his air brakes on in the pic. We have several bald eagles around here only 3 miles north of the river. I had one sitting in the top of one of my pines last year. I see them at least weekly around here, even more in the winter when the river freezes over. They aren't shy about taking roadkill year round either. Or the cottontails in and around my yard.
I wonder what he was after. Baldies are generally scavengers not hunters.
