Thats kinda wierd , my Connies both tuned with the nock point level , or very slighlty above level , like an 1/8th of an inch high at most , I am sure you have , but have you checked cam timing to make sure both are hitting at the same time ?? Have you measured your cables to make sure they are both the correct length , would sure think something along those lines is where the problem is at .

Are you shooting 3 fingers under?
My experience has been that fingers under require a higher nock but certainly not an inch

Check tiller and Cam timing. Try timing the top cam slightly ahead or behind see if that makes a difference.
Confirm the spine of your arrow is correct. How is your left and right in comparison to the center shot.

Make sure your limbs are not cracked.

What rest are you using? Maybe there is some adjustment(tension, height) there, along with all of the other suggestions. Good luck!

Not sure about the cams or tiller but I shoot instinctive traditional and over one inch nock would be extreme for us. Something else is the problem. By the way, I shoot 3 fingers under, that's not the problem...

Well. The bow is into the shop right now; I've reached my wit's end and hope they can check on tiller, timing etc. Of course, the problem is that all these guys are trigger shooters and the first thing they want me to do is shoot a release.

On my center shot I am good -- no fishtailing. When I shoot 1inch nock high I get perfect holes on paper tuning. I am really hoping it is not a broken limb. $$ is tight, but new limbs are cheaper than a new bow, I guess.

Sure, but that's not the likely culprit....

Are you shooting the paper at 5, 10 and 15 feet? If so, and you are still getting tail down, try a lighter tip, if you can.
