My first ever 50 yard group
I have never shot further than 40 yards. Two weeks ago I could not group consistently past 20.
I have been shooting every day, even when I don't feel like it, and I have improved to the point where 20 to 30 is almost a chip shot. 40 is still a challenge. Sometimes I shoot good at 40, other times I can't concentrate and it looks awful.
Today I decided to take it up a notch, and try 50. I have NEVER IN MY LIFE shot a bow at 50 yards before. These photos are of the first 3 arrows I ever shot from 50.

I am aware that all the shots are high. I do not have a 50 yard pin. I was aiming by placing the 30 pin in the center of the H in red head. The point is the group, not where it hit on the target.

It works really well.
I made it with 1-1/4 and it is plenty strong.
Since I made it (2 Weekends ago) we have had several days of high gusty wind and it has yet to fall over. A couple of days it was swinging pretty good but it didn't fall.
