Told you guys I'd give you an update.
Late last season I ordered the selkirk jacket and pants the hoodie, waypoint gloves and the hat
I only got to hunt 3 times with this camo last season last year. Its warm no idea if its waterproof.
The fabric is the same kind you find on the cheap stuff you buy at Walmart (where you run your hand across it and it catches on the dryness of your hands) that alone made me hate it.
Of the 3 times i hunted with it. I got busted each time...the color is nowhere near what it needs to be for eastern hardwoods hunting. It's way too brite...would be great for areas I've seen in MT with vast openness with dead grass and sage.
It runs on the small side...I ordered xl gloves, couldn't even get them over my 1st knuckles . I sent them back and ordered the 2xl and they still didn't even come close to fitting... sent them back for a refund.
Overall, I dont think these clothes are anywhere near what you pay for them. My 2 main gripes fabric and color, if they were changed I'd be a huge fan...when I bought them i told myself "surely their not the same kinda of fabric you see on Walmart camo" but they were...that was the main disappointment for me.
Anyway if you guys have any questions or anything feel free to ask

Have you put them in the classified for sale yet?

Is Farm & Home store Camo the same as Walmart Camo as last year I bought all new stuff from the Farm & Home store

I have had pnuma gear for 2 years now and had my firat warranty article needed a repair. They say repair or replace, they dont mean it. I purchased a set of selkirk pants on their website at a discount and they fell apart my second time using them. 2 1/2 months after being shipped in they informed me since the pants were discounted on their site they wont send me a new pair. Only option is a discounted credit for their subpar equipment. I am Super dissapointed. I have multiple other pnuma pieces and now am regretting all their purchases. If you are planning on buying for the warranty, think twice

was that a close out or a sale or discontinued price?

Myself I have never bought any hunting or fishing gear for the warranty and never tried to use warranty on any hunting or fishing gear. Well I did one time, I moved and some one put my bow in the attic of the new house, took a while to find it and the limbs had warped due to the heat. It was 6 yyears old, called the bow company, they said send it in and they would check it out, they called me and for $35 I got a whole new bow...

It was their closeout sale on the pnuma website. They still have selkirk pants however, say they cant replace it since i paid half of what they cost now. Very poor response with customer service as well. They wouldnt let me talk to a manager at any point. Someone eas supposed to get back to me 3 weeks ago. Said either i take the website credit or they will ship me back my irreparable pants. Have been calling for 2 weeks since and still havent been able to talk to a representative..

wow, nobody takes returns on closeouts and I do not know of anyone who expects to return things they bought on closeouts..

well I do, not personelly, I worked at a big box hardware store after I retired and I could not believe the people who would buy things on clearance and try to return them, some even wanted the full price back.

Then the people who bought a mower one year and it woulld not start the next spring and wanted a new lawn mower , I would ask them, If you buy a car and the radio quits the next year, do you expect the dealer to give you a new car? No, we will have yours repaired,,,,,

then the people who would buy Christmas ornaments and lights and even artificial trees prior to Christmas and want to return them after Christmas...

People suck. They abuse the heck out of warranty and return policies. This just gets passed on to other consumers. My wife works retail and people even try to return brands to her store that they don’t even carry.

A company that states they lifetime warranty every one of their products to repair or replace against defect should follow through. These are the exact same pants people pay $300 for, if i pay $150 the warranty against defect is void? Should the other pants that were 20% off only be warrantied for 80% of their value. They were sold directly on the pnuma website with the warranty on it. Warranty for craftsmanship should be the same warranty no matter what the consumer paid for it..

I think companies like this factor in warranty to their prices, they have things made cheap overseas, making a large profit and giving a warranty… on clearance, they don’t want to warranty it because it wouldn’t leave enough profit at that price… they don’t actually believe in their product, it’s a front.

unfortunately, a lot of companies are this way, but I also think most disclaim in their clearance section that there are no refunds.

the way I do it is try a lot of gear, and the stuff that sucks, I don’t warranty and never buy again… if it’s crap, why would I want it again?

I emailed pnuma early on and their response to my very straightforward question wasn’t confidence inspiring… they make a kick ass merino beanie, besides that, they aren’t for me.
Warranty has very little bearing on my purchases, if they market their warranty more than their product, they probably have it made super cheap and figure in replacements into your cost

Dafis and onza. Your are off track. I am talking about the lack of customer service on the lifetime WARRANTY. Which the company quotes to repair or replace. Nothing was abused. They were purchased on the pnuma website. They admitted they needed to be replaced due to quality issues however would not replace them. NO lawnmowers, no christmas lights, correct store. Beware of the pnuma warranty. Plain and simple

I recently returned my Pnuma heated vest after having it for 2 years. The plug connector would not stay in the battery so the vest would not stay on. I fully expected them to just replace the plug connector on the vest and send the vest back to me. Instead, they sent me back a brand new vest along with a brand new battery and brand new battery charger. I couldn't be any more happier with their customer service or Lifetime Warranty.
