I need a little information about this treestand. I can't find a name on it. It has a strap that looks like it is used to hold the stand in place. When I looked at the back of the stand it looks as if there is a part missing. Does this need some type of device that attaches it to the tree. Thanks for any and all info.

Yes this thing is very lite, maybe 8lbs if not less than that. I'm not out anything some gave it to me. I was just trying to find out about it. Guess it needs to find the scrape yard. Thanks

I won one just like it at a banquet. Put it up once about 2 feet off the ground, and tried it. It has been hanging in my garage since. No way I'm getting in it. Very flimsy feeling. Mine came with a very cheesy strap to attatch it to the tree.

:hairy: That`s a Loggy Bayou Cheap Seat.I own 4 of them.Very lightweight-very easy to set up and one of my favorite stands.Too bad they stopped making them:cry: Like any other stand it can be a death trap  .......if you don`t wear your safety harness:thumb:

Actually I have one of those, but I don't think it's a Loggy. I think it's an old Cabela's model, emulating the Loggy. It was relatively cheap back then, only $40-50 or so...I'm talking about 10-12 years ago.

Not a bad little stand, no creaking on mine at all...as a matter of fact, I shot a pretty nice 10 pointer out of it one evening! :p
