The mechanical broadhead thread in the archery section got me thinking again about switching my crossbow broadheads from Slick Trick 100gr standard to one of the NAP mechanicals. I love the slicks for my compound bow, but every year I have the same issue on the crossbow with them not hitting the same as my field points. So this year I haven't shot any field points on the crossbow, only the slicks, and they fly great. Very consistent, dead on accurate. But that limits me to shooting only my own range and targets. I'd like to be able to take the crossbow to the local range without having to change my settings every time I switch between field points and broadheads.
Without getting too much into all the technical aspects of why broadheads hit differently than field points, does anyone use the 100gr NAP Killzone or Spitfire on their crossbow and find they shoot the same as the field points? I have a Matrix 380.
