I am buying my first hunting bow and I have narrowed my options down to 2 bow packages: the Hoyt Ignite or the PSE Vision. Ive shot both and like the feel of them about the same. I am leaning towards the PSE because of the 33" ata on it. I feel that would give me a better fitting bow as I grow. I am 15 years old. about 5'10" tall (give or take 1/2 inch). I have about a 70"-72" armspan (which gives me an approximate draw length of 28.5"). I feel comfortable drawing about 55-65lbs. Just because of my size, the fact that im still growing, and the fact that a longer ata is usually more forgiving than a short one I think the PSE is a better choice, BUT I have never gone bow hunting or owned a quality compound bow (only the $20 kids bows) I thought I would go and get some other opinions. bows felt really great to me, but im not sure which is the best option for me. Any thoughts/suggestions?
