My new Martin Prowler with Fusion cam should be delivered on Friday. Can anyone tell me what is involved with the initial set up. Is this something that can be done by the average Joe (or Willieboy)? Martin tells me the Bow will arrive assembled.
The intial set-up can be done with the proper tools and depending on whether or not you have to change the draw length. If you need to change draw length most likely you will need a bow press. Your knocking point and installing your accessories can be done by you.
No, I have no press. I have made arrangements with Bass Pro Shops to set the bow up for me. I'm just wondering what's involved to see if I could handle it myself.
I did not buy the bow through a local pro shop because no one had a Prowler SE in stock and even if they did, the prices I saw on bows they stocked were much higher than those charged by Bass Pro for the same bow.
