Can anyone help me ???

I got a bow and it has a string on it that I really like. I have had it on a couple of old bows I had around but never tried to figure out what it was.

Its almost like fishing line with speckles in it ?? Looks like it will wear like iron....I think it begins with a "C".

Caruba ....cardova....someething like that....

Thanks

jp

PS- I am also looking for someone to make me a string and cable set made of this material.

cordoza

Constructed entirely of Spectra 1000. Inhibits stretch & creep in all conditions. Each strand has a Spectra 1000 inner core & braided casing. Long life, no single strand failure, very little initial elongation.

Cordoza Phase Strings

JP,
I think Cabelas of all places carries them. Take a look at page 38 of there 2003 Archery catalog (bottom of the page) and see if this is what you are looking for.

Anytime JP! I shot those strings back in the days beforecustom "prestretched" strings. Thet are pretty darn tough.
