Need some glue to use to glue up field/hunter targets

Here’s the thing, the glue we are using at your club now seam’s to be the best thing that the squirrels have ever eaten, so therefore the targets are up for about a week then they are unshootable. Plus the rain takes its toll on them also. Are there any clubs having the same prob. And if so do you have any suggestions.

Our club has been glueing targets with surplus exterior latex paint for years. Just use roller, put on normal coat, press target into paint and smooth from the center out. We do not have a squirrel problem but the slugs sure eat the paper causing the same problem.

try adding a "BondCrete" Type product to PVA glue/wall paper paste, get this from a harware store and is added to cemet to make it more adhesive etc - I know the goats dont like it.

If you're using regular old wallpaper paste (Wheat Paste) they will eat that. Try one of the newer cellulose pastes (Glutoline, Metalyn or pre mixed). 3M Spray adhesive works very well too, but kinda expensive.
