My father n law has a Barnett revolution and had a few questions about different things and I don't know the first thing about crossbows but I told him I'm sure I could find some answers on archery talk!

What bolts should he be shooting?
Are their different types of nocks and which one is best for accuracy?
What vanes? He has been having trouble with his vanes slapping on the bow,suggestions
And what broad heads are best mech fixed n which one?

I have a Barnett Quad 400 (I know, not the greatest, but it works well for me for the price). I'm always looking for cheap and reliable... I use Easton Razer XX75 22" half-moon nock bolts w/ Rage 2-Blade 125gr Crossbow (they're new this year, little diff than the standard 125 gr 2-Blade Rages). I've had lots of success with this setup (using the standard 2-Blade Rages, hoping the xbow version works even better); I'm sure others have better, but this seems to work well for me. A lot of people I talk to LOVE Slick Trick, never used them myself, but heard good things... Good luck!
