I had the extreme pleasure and privledge this afternoon to witness side-by-side - the last arrow at 30 meters on Jamie Van Natta's first full fita of the week, which broke the old record of 1401 with a 1402! Nerves of steel she had while shaking like a leaf - the experience totally made a decent day for me all the better! Our target made up of Jamie, myself, Becky Pearson and Aya LaBrie never made a fita target look so bright before with all the laughter and smiles and hugs!

Congratulations Jamie! Your dad must be estatic!!!!

Oh thank God! I was looking for someone to post on this today after I saw last night's results from day 1. Denise, tell Jamie I said "Hell yeah! And way to go girl! I knew she would do it!" After seeing that 700 from yesterday, I had a feeling it would happen. I can completely understand those nerves. 2 years ago at nationals I was on pace, and totally let it fall apart at 50. Congrats again, Jamie!!!!
